Progress....

Thanks everyone for reading the first blog. I still need more ska bands, so if you know of a few, point them in my direction. What I need from them:

• Name of band
• Link to FB page/twitter/music/video
• number of people in the band and names (first and last, please)

Good news, I believe after a meeting  I had Thursday that the second venue (and the largest of the three) maybe confirmed. Also coming with that is on-air advertising and a another big in-town sponsor. Will it be all ages at that venue? Perhaps. I'm working on it.

The few people that I have talked to about this event seem to be very excited for it, and apparently word is already spreading, which can be good. It makes me excited that more people are excited like I am. Makes it all seem worthwhile.

If I can confirm these other three sponsors, there will be *fingers crossed* a total of 5 places in town to buy the weekend passes, during their respective business hours. Sale date yet-to-be-determined.
